It Is true that this threat Is being taken seriously, and that many responsible research workers, government advisers and others are working towards Its reduction. But air pollution seems to have something of the nature of a hydra-headed monster: tackle one problem and another immediately grows to take its place. An efficient and new but non-intrusive method to detect the fluctuation in gear load may be the motor current signature analysis (MCSA). In this paper, a multi-stage transmission gearbox (with and without defects) has been studied in order to replace the conventional vibration monitoring by MCSA. It has been observed through FFT analysis that low frequencies of the vibration signatures have sidebands across line frequency of the motor current whereas high frequencies of vibration signature are difficult to be detected. Hence, discrete wavelet transform (DWT) is suggested to decompose the current signal, and FFT analysis is carried out with the decomposed current signal to trace the sidebands of the high frequencies of vibration

The tutorials are listed in alphabetical order, but if you are new to electronics, I would recommend to start with DC Theory.

Wayne Storr has created a very good set of tutorials, ranging from DC- and AC-Theory over the basic devices Resistor, Capacitor, Inductor and Diode to Transistors and Operational Amplifiers and to circuits like Amplifiers, Oscillators and Waveform Generators and Filters. Digital topics are also covered, ranging from the Binary System, Boolean Algebra, Logic Gates to Combination Logic, Sequential Logic and Counters.

Each tutorial consists of about 5 to 15 consecutive pages which should be read one after another. The tutorials are independent of each other, but if you are new to electronics you might find it useful to look at them in the order in which I have listed them in the last paragraph. On the homepage the tutorials are listed in alphabetical order, but going through them in that order does not make much sense.

The tutorials do not assume prior electronics knowledge of the reader. For a few pages of the tutorial, the knowledge of a bit of mathematics would be useful, for example in the DC-Theory tutorial the advanced methods of circuit analysis require linear algebra. But even without this you can understand most of the tutorial. The AC-Theory tutorial contains a good explanation of the necessary trigonometry, and also of complex numbers (for a more in-depth treatment of this topic, please take a look at the resources on my Complex Numbers page).

If you work through the tutorials you will quickly gain a good basic knowledge of electronics. But if the pace of the tutorials is too fast for you, try Lessons In Electric Circuits (allaboutcircuits) by Kuphaldt - it will take more time to work through them, but they might be easier for the absolute beginner. By the way, the allaboutcircuits forum that is associated with Kuphaldt’s book, is a very good place to ask if you have questions about any topic in the tutorials.

Storr is also writing a Blog that contains some additional topics, some of them a bit more advanced than those that are covered in the tutorials. In some posts he explains questions that readers have emailed to him. It is probably best to look first at the tutorials and then at the blog, if you are hungry for more information.

This study has been undertaken to investigate the speed control ACIM using field oriented control. The principle of vector control of electric drives is based on the control of both the magnitude and the phase of each phase current and voltage. for this purpose, the study of available conventional and non-conventional approaches has been presented. This paper also presents a clear study which illustrates introduction of efficient vector control of ACIM.

Millions of vehicles pass via roads and cities every day. Various economic, social and cultural factors affect growth of traffic congestion. The amount of traffic congestion has major impacts on accidents, loss of time, cost of money, delay of emergency, etc. Due to traffic congestions there is a loss in productivity from workers, people lose time, trade opportunities are lost, delivery gets delay, and thereby the costs goes on increasing. To solve these congestion problems it is better to build new facilities and infrastructure but at the same time make it smart.
Many traffic light systems operate on a timing mechanism that changes the lights after a given interval. An intelligent traffic light system senses the presence or absence of vehicles and reacts accordingly. The idea behind intelligent traffic systems is that drivers will not spend unnecessary time waiting for the traffic lights to change. An intelligent traffic system detects traffic in many different ways [1].

Due to significant popularity of Location-based Services and Multimedia communication over mobile devices, there are many researches has been conducted to extend the features of location tracking and make it cost-effective to users. It becomes necessary for the users to have seamless communication with automated switching of software applications. This paper focuses on the performance of indoor location tracking system on IPv6 Network Island with multiple real time applications that has location assisted transfer for mobile users. RSSI (Received Signal Strength Indicator) mechanism has been used to locate the moving nodes. The developed location tracking server is having dynamic and centralized MySQL database management system. SIP (Session Initial Protocols) user agent has been used to deploy intercommunicating of multimedia data for instance; video and audio conference, text messaging among the moving nodes and user can transfer the seamlessly transfer the session to their nearest mobile node which will be determined by the Location Server. This paper is going to discuss about the seamless performance of SIP during the session transference. The developed project is cost-effective and precisely conducive for the industries or any indoor organization. The prototype of the project has been successfully developed and has been tested as well. The results show the seamless connectivity of the multimedia application during device switching.

Illumination invariance remains the most researched, yet the most challenging aspect of automatic face recognition. In this paper we investigate the discriminative power of colour-based invariants in the presence of large illumination changes between training and test data, when appearance changes due to cast shadows and non-Lambertian effects are significant. Specifically, there are three main contributions: (i) we employ a more sophisticated photometric model of the camera and show how its parameters can be estimated, (ii) we derive several novel colour-based face invariants, and (iii) on a large database of video sequences we examine and evaluate the largest number of colour-based representations in the literature. Our results suggest that colour invariants do have a substantial discriminative power which may increase the robustness and accuracy of recognition from low resolution images.

This paper presents the design and implementation of a fully integrated transimpedance amplifier (TIA) as the analog frontend receiver for Capacitive Micromachined Ultrasound Transducers (CMUTs) for ultrasound biomicroscope imaging application. The amplifier is designed to amplify the received signals from 17.5MHz to 52.5MHz with a center frequency of 35MHz. The TIA was fabricated in GF 0.18μm 1P6M 30V high voltage process. The measurement results show that the designed amplifier can reach a transimpedance gain of 61.08dBΩ and operating frequency from 17.5MHz to 100MHz with 1VP-P output voltage under 6V power supply.  Abstract-Aeronautical Data Chain is a conceptual representation of the path that a set or element of aeronautical data takes from its origination up to end-use. There are classical databases such as navigation or terrain database and configuration files for modularity and portability purposes. These databases can be used to activate or deactivate software items, adapt the software computation to the aircraft configuration, or provide computation data. The RTCA DO-200B establishes three Data Process Assurance Level (DPAL) as the level of rigor, representing the amount of verification and validation tasks performed, during data processing to assure data quality. This paper presents four different and complementary validation techniques to ensure correctness for Aeronautical Databases. This work aims to cover the existing gap in the available standards, presenting and exemplifying some proposed techniques. It also presents some techniques and provides different comparisons and specific intentions. At the end, some relevant needs of qualified tools are discussed to ensure that the use of techniques can be automated, and credits can be sought using tools.

Phosphogypsum disposal from Dinh Vu DAP company was used to separate phosphate and make gypsum by (NH¬4)2SO4. The reaction time was 120 min. The percentage of P2O5 after removal was 0.72 % and met the Vietnam Standard 11833:2017 issued by Institute of Building Materials. The components in phosphogypsum could be applied to manufacture cement. The final product was mixed by PG120 : clinker : fly ash with ratio 5:80:15% (w/w), respectively to manufacture cement. The cement was tested compressive strength. The strength was 55 N/mm2 after 28 days. Index Terms-Phosphate gypsum (PG), CaHPO4.2H2O, CaSO4.2H2O, P2O5, cement, diammonium phosphate (DAP).

— In digital communication system, digital information can be sent on a carrier through changes in its fundamental characteristics such as phase, frequency and amplitude. The use of a filter plays an important part in a communication channel because it is effective at eliminating spectral leakage, reducing channel width, and eliminating interference from adjacent symbols (Inter Symbol Interference) ISI. It describe the developed and dynamic method of designing finite impulse response filter with automatic rapid and less error by an efficient genetic and neural approach. GA and Neural are powerful global optimization algorithm introduced in combinational optimization problems. Here, FIR filter is designed using Genetic, Neural approach by efficient coding schemes. We need to design these filters with some constraints imposed by requirements of the communication system in which we are going to use them. The use of optimization techniques have been proved to be quite useful towards the design of those digital filters with certain specifications. This paper reviews about the uses of optimization systems in digital filter design.

 Abstract— Data Leakage can be referred as the unauthorized transfer of classified information from a computer or data centre to the outside world. Big data is an evolving term that describes any voluminous amount of structured, semi-structured and unstructured data that has the potential to be mined for information. The data loss in such huge massive data sets may cause critical vulnerabilities. In this paper we proposed a novel model in Hadoop master/slave architecture for data leakage prevention with LRA algorithm. The LRA algorithm evaluates the Least Reliable Agent and sends it to the DLA (Data Leakage Avoider). DLA prevents the NameNode from allocating data to these agents.

Abstract— The research aims to isolate indigenous bacteria present in oil sludge from oil tanks and oil pits from Basrah Refinery Factories and study their ability to degrade oil sludge by Gas Chromatographic Analysis. The research started on October 2013 till November 2014. Soil sampling was taken on several places with contaminated soil location from oil tanks and oil pits in Basrah, south of Iraq. The bacteria were isolated by using an enrichment culture and a single colony isolation technique. All isolates were screened for bacterial oil degradation using 0.5% diesel in Bushnell-Hass Mineral Salt medium. The ability of to degrade oil sludge was identified by using Gas Chromatographic Analysis. The predominant bacteria belonged to the genera Pseudomonas spp., Arthrobacter spp., Rhodococcus spp., and Bacillus spp.  The most active degraders of oil sludge Pseudomonas sp. and Rhodococcus sp. All the tested isolates show good activity to degrade n-alkanes in oil sludge.

Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) have recently emerges as promising technology in wireless communication field and gained special attention by research groups. It uses small and cheap gadgets with low energy requirements and limited on board computing resourceswhich communicates with each other’s or base stations without any pre-defined infrastructure. —In this paper, a new method is proposed to implement the bypass circuit for 802.11n RF LNA/Switch modules. Unlike traditional method, which uses decoder for mode and RF switch control, this method adopts diodes only for controlling. Also, less than-10dB input and output return loss under bypass mode operation can be achieved by using this method without introducing extra impedance matching circuit which would increase the die size of a MMIC chip. This method provides a better accuracy of signal attenuation control and less die size implementation for bypass mode operation. Index Terms—Low Noise Amplifier, RF Switch, Bypass Mode, 802.11n

Este artículo presenta la investigación, diseño y construcción de un prototipo de máquina fresadora CNC para fabricar circuitos impresos (PCB’s) de una cara y ancho de trazo mínimo de 0.1 mm. El diseño del prototipo se llevó a cabo después una exhaustiva investigación, identificando las principales características que debería presentar, y teniendo en cuenta el uso final del mismo. La estructura mecánica esta conformada por una base o soporte, tres ejes ortogonales movidos por un sistema tuerca-tornillo sin fin, con el propósito de brindar uniformidad y precisión en el desplazamiento, cada uno accionado por un motor paso a paso. How it is evenly found in both types of gender and at what age it starts to show up its symptoms? Apart from introduction and symptoms, Meditation for treatment of narcolepsy is also discussed. MSLT (Multiple sleep latency test) and MWT (Maintenance of wakefulness test) are the existing tests for measuring sleepiness. Sleep Latency (SL) is the main measures of sleepiness computed in these tests.

— This paper investigate the power quality improvement under unbalanced supply condition. The current drawn is highly non-linear and contain harmonics. Shunt active filter eliminate only the current harmonics, not the voltage harmonics. But he series active filter provide harmonics isolation. SHAPF is suitable for compensation of source voltage, reactive power and reduce source current and voltage harmonics. It also eliminate series and parallel resonance. The control technique for the SHAPF is based on the Generalized Instantaneous Reactive Power Theory. The real and reactive power are converted into voltage component. Then the reference voltage are calculated inorder to compensate the source current and load voltage harmonics. Simulations have been carried out on MATLAB-Simulink Platform and results are presented.

The main objective of this project is to develop and implement a prototype of a controller scheme using latest control algorithms and drives technology to capture maximum sun energy from sun through solar panel in day time. The efficiency of a solar panel is related to the amount of solar energy it absorbed, so it is necessary to track the sun’s position for the panel accurately. A new approach to implement a control unit so that the position of the panel is always kept perpendicular to the sun so as to capture maximum amount of energy. In this control unit a new tracking system is proposed, which comprises of a sensor (position), a microcontroller, and a stepper motor. The position sensor (pyranometer) always detects the position of the sensor. This sensor also detects the radiation from the sun. The fuzzy logic control approach is developed in the microcontroller to design a drive unit for stepper motor as well as to detect the sun position. By implementing this tracking system, the solar panel can be perpendicular to the sun at any moment in day time to obtain maximum solar radiation. The resulting structure has high efficiency, low cost and can be easily modified. This improves the performance of regular tracker nearby 30-40%.
