This paper reviews experimental and analytical techniques that examine the efficiency of systems for the injection of powders in plasma jets used in spray coating. The types of injectors, the experimental techniques for observing particle trajectories and distributions, and the mathematical models used to investigate the momentum and heat-transfer phenomena between particles, carrier gas, and plasma jet are described. Experimental data are presented from numerous examples from the plasma spraying of ceramic powders.

Stability of drugs and products has a great practical interest, which is facing to strict regulation. Thermal studies, besides the determination of the thermal properties of the investigated product allow the verification of possible interactions between the drug substances and excipients. The objective of this work was to obtain solid pre-formulates of paracetamol (PC) by spray drying (SPDR), as well as to investigate their thermal behavior. Dynamic and isotherm TG, conventional DSC and DSC-photovisual coupled methods were used to characterize the conventional and pre-formulated mixtures obtained by SPDR. The results of both DSC investigations showed slight alterations in melting temperatures, which suggests incompatibilities. The TG decomposition data of the mixtures evidenced that the dry process via SPDR leads to stability enhancement of the pre-formulated mixtures.

Study aim to improve the indoor building thermal comfort environment by using straw bale on the roof top promoting green construction projects. Experimentally field temperature of the residential building in Peshawer, city of Pakistan was collected for July 2019 and January2020 which has the highest and lowest temperature of the year further experimental temperature data is compared and validated using CFD modeling. CFD simulation was used to determine the effect of straw bale thermal insulator material on the roof top. Findings indicated that the experimental temperature shows 2 nd January has the lowest temperature and 11 th July has the highest and predicated validated temperature result shows similar findings with slightly difference of less than 20%. Straw bale utilization shows temperature reduces in the summer and increase in the winter inside the building but did not meet the ASHARE standard-55 recommended comfort zone temperatures values. This study concluded that straw bale did not effectively helpful to use in the Peshawar city for the thermal comfort in residential building. In the line, 123 Mushtaq Ahmad et al. more studies have recommended to use other natural and recycled thermal insulator materials and compare the result. The placement of thermal insulator material in buildings is essential has to consider in the future studies.

In conventional thermal spraying, the spray particles are partially or fully molten when they deposit on the substrate. Cold spraying, in contrast, uses less thermal and more kinetic energy. In this process, solid particles impact on the substrate at high velocities and form excellent coatings. Due to comparatively low temperatures and typically inert process gases, cold spraying is particularly suitable for heat and oxidation sensitive materials. In recent years, modeling and computational methods have been widely used to study this relatively new spraying process, particularly to describe impact conditions of particles, to improve nozzle design, and to provide a better understanding of the thermo-mechanical processes that lead to particle bonding and deposition. This paper summarizes the state of the art in these theoretical studies, alongside a comprehensive description of the process. The paper also discusses the prediction of coating properties in the light of modeling combined with experimental investigations.

Each single system of automotive along with brake system has come a long way in past years. In two wheeler brake system the material used for disc brake mostly is, alloy martensitic stainless steel and sometimes in high end bikes is carbon – carbon composite and grey cast iron. But when brakes is subjected to structural and wear issues it is important to study analytical calculation in order to obtain temperature, heat flux, heat generated etc. with the help of which optimum material is selected as per the requirement of vehicle system. The steady state thermal analysis of two wheeler disc rotor aimed towards the evaluating the braking performance of two wheeler disc brake under braking condition. In this paper mathematical inputs, and thermal loads of brake rotor, calculations of different parameters required for thermal analysis is done by taking suitable assumptions. The design of brake rotor is done on solid works 15 and analysis is done with the help of ansys 14.5.

In the present contribution, a procedure to estimate parameters using non-isothermal data was applied. The estimation procedure is based on the use of an energy balance in DSC furnace. The approach found all kinetic parameters of autocatalytic model (E 1, E 2, A 1, A 2, m, n) besides the ultimate reaction heat and their confidence regions by using deterministic and heuristic algorithms. The application of this approach to isothermal data was done in a previous work and similar results were obtained. The results show that the use of an energy balance is a good methodology to estimate cure kinetic parameters of non-isothermal experiments.
